5-6pm — How to make a no-sew tutu!

Woolley adds to our costume repertoire by teaching us how to make beautiful tutus the EASY way! A great addition to your Cold Compress costume! PLEASE BRING: a ribbon that is long enough to fit around your waist (with some extra for tying) tulle (and other fabric if you wish) (about 1-1.5m total and don’t worry tulle is only a couple of bucks per metre!)

6-7pm — Flog You! Aura Fluffing with Fabulous Dr. Slava Slapenshine

This workshop will focus on how to use a whip. What parts of body are “whippable.” How to “fluff an aura.” How to choose your Whip Master and why? PLEASE BRING: your own flogger (if you wish), a willing partner, and clean bums!

6-7:30pm — Kecak!

What? Kecak! Kecak is the Ramayana Monkey Chant where you percussively chanting “cak” and throwing up your arms. It depicts a battle from the Ramayana where the monkey-like Vanara helped Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana. The Kecak has roots in sanghyang, a trance-inducing exorcism dance. Whatever you call it or take it to mean, what it can be is an extremely fun and liberating way to connect with a group of people, make poly-rhythmic music and act like a monkey. The more people we have the better it is. You don’t need to be able to sing or even speak English to join in with Dave and the group!

JUST ADDED: Two extra workshops running after 9!!

9:00pm-ish — Plasma Cutting

Jason will be outside with the plasma cutter building a burn barrel. Join in and try your hand cutting designs into the barrel and creating something beautiful!
